We are having a problem with our clustered internet mail service not
responding with a proper fully qualified domain name. Using telnet to
connect to port 25 to the virtual server we get the following:

220 EMTEST-1 ESMTP Server (Microsoft Exchange Internet Mail Service
5.5.2653.13)
ready

We should get EMTEST-1.apa.org instead of EMTEST-1

This is causing delivery problems on our production server since some sites
will not except email from non RFC compliant servers.

We are running Exchange 5.5 sp4 on MS clustered servers running NT 4.0 sp6a.

The servers TCP/IP config are configured with the proper hostname and domain
name.

This seems to work fine on a non clustered exchange 5.5 server.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
