Symantec has recently upgraded their NAV for Exchange to also include Content/Spam filtering as well, and have gone to a nice GUI for management. This is only good for E2K though, and they have not announced any plans to port it to 5.5

It is true that TrendMicro is very good on the virus scanning side, its eManager plug-in is just a mediocre content filter. For virus scanning, Sybari's Antigen is just as good. You can't go wrong with either product. I believe Antigen has content filtering now as well, but I haven't tested it yet. For content filtering all of the three below are decent: - MIMESweeper: they are the leader in this field. Very strong product. - Praetor: good/cheaper alternative to MIMESweeper. The next version will be based on Transport Event Sinks which they claim gives them a big performance boost. The downside is it will require Win2K - MMS from Tumbleweed Communications: they are MIMESweeper's top competitor and this is the only product that has a comparable feature set AFAIK.
