Ric, Make sure you cannot 'DELETE' the contacts folder (IE it is NOT the Outlook created contacts folder but a named lookalike created by the user). I have seen this here once, don't know how they deleted the 'real' contacts folder as they don't have access to Exchange client, but user will find some ctrl,alt way to do things you never thought of.
