Hi Chris, Thanks. Is that what the " entry was last confirmed open " means? I've been trying to decode the "MSEXCH:IMS" message and none of the Exchange manuals I have are real helpful (by now you probably realize I'm not too swift when it comes to Exchange!). The system was a mess; I deleted over 50,000 archived messages, there were corrupted messages in both the in and out queues, and the Exchange database was riddled with errors. Rerouting was enabled, wide open. I realize that I need to do some further work to close everything up tight. The only reason that this mess was discovered was that the company president couldn't (still can't) send email to his sister!
