Cost is one of the last things evaluated in choosing a gateway. Since an outbound IMS doesn't fail over, what's the design goal of having an "invisible" SMTP server? And what is the desired behavior in comparison to what you are currently seeing?

I have two IMS on separate machines, one is our registered mail server the other is a invisible SMTP server. The cost of the registered is 1 and the cost of the invisible is 100. But I'm seeing email que up on the invisible server. The invisible server is our mailbox server, could that have something to do with it? e- _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
