I've never seen it do that. I would upgrade to Ex5.5sp4, then upgrade NAVMSE
to version 2.17 build 75. You'll be thrilled at all the upgrades since
v1.5.2.

Subject: Norton Anti-Virus For Exchange

We currently run Exchange 5.5 SP3. We have installed NAV for Excahnge
Version 1.5.2 The server has 1 gig of RAM. Recently we have been
experiencing and issue in task manager. The memory allocated for
NAVeAP.exe is very high....totaling almost all of the memory for the
server. It usually is in the 900 meg range then the server begins to run
VERY slow. Also when you look in Task Manager it is listed twice
(NAVeAP.exe)The second one totaling about half the memory allocated of the
first. I only have about 250 users with email accounts and by all
accounts the server is not hit very hard.

When rebooting the server everything seems ok for a day or so but then the
memory allocated shoots up very high when a virus is detected and the
server does a scan, when finished the server never reclaims the memory
used and within a week I am more than likely forced to again reboot the
server to reclaim the memory.

Thanks in Advance.
