I am normally reluctant to plug products too much for risk of appearing to be a
"homer." But when you find a product that works as advertised, and works well, it's
time to notice. We've been using the Plus Pak product that was spoken of for a while
now, and it's great. Our out-of-town students and traveling faculty have near-Outlook
functionality, and access to the GAL and the Contacts/private addressing, plus spell
checking, has been a real sore point with our end users adopting OWA. It makes
provisioning kiosk-based web mail a lot easier. Instead of a lot of VPN hassles and
slow Outlook/Exchange relationships for faculty living off our campus (we're a
boarding school), we can give them pretty near LAN functionality. It's not world peace
or a 32" waistline, but I'll take it.

BTW, I wrote this from an OWA client at a College in Dallas, where I am training. Our
school is near Philadelphia.

        Subject: OWA Address book

In trying to find a secure solution for our external users, OWA with SSL
seems like the best answer. The only issue I've found is that all of our
users are totally dependant on having an address book where they can type a
partial name or pick the address from a list. In OWA, it seems that you
have to type the full address or search for the specific address. Does
anyone know of a workaround for this or a third party solution that would
allow this type of address book in OWA? Any help would be greatly
        appreciated. Thank you
