If it really annoys you, you can add a DependOnService line for MSExchangeIS to HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\W3SVC. You don't have an M: drive in your files structure, IIRC, because one of the service packs has now hidden it by default. You can redirect to /exchange by editing the default website in IIS Admin.
