Richard, I had to do an offline defrag a few weeks ago when the store filled to 16Gb. Remember you can use a mapped drive as the 'working' space for the defrag. I guess it'll be a little slower, but it worked OK for us.

Is this true, thanks. -----Original Message----- From: Christopher Hummert [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, September 10, 2002 5:00 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: public folder Oh no....here comes the flames -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Jason Coleman Sent: Tuesday, September 10, 2002 1:59 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: public folder In order to really recover the space that comes from deleting email, mailboxes, etc. an offline defrag is a must. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ________________________________________________________________________ This e-mail has been scanned for all viruses by Star Internet.
