Thanks for your answer. Basically the scenario is this - a big hosting company has aquired a bunch of other hosting companies. They all have different mail systems: UNIX-based, Linux-based, Imail, Exchange, etc. They are trying to find a homogeneous e-mail solution that would allow to host huge numbers of users in a cost effective manner.
I am hosting a lot of Exchange customers in a shared environment as well as dedicated and would not mind to continue doing so. Exchange seems to be just fine for that. Although Exchange requires additional expenses on active directory, provisioning, maintenance. The sales pitch from MiraPoint is that you just stick the box in the rack and it is ready to go.
