First thought, your recovery server does not have the same Exchange SP and/or hotfix level as your production . I also prefer restores fron online backups. Much easier.

When I tried to run isinted -patch, it fails with JET_errFileAccessDenied. Event logs show an error 145 for ESE97, that it could not access a logfile. I checked its existence and permissions, and everything appears Ok. Any help? All boxes involved are Win2k SP3, and Exchange 5.5, SP3.
