we used Norton Antivirus for Exchange 5.5 version 2.xx for a couple of years. It was ok. I didn't like having to go into the system registry to add a file or extension I wanted blocked. When we upgraded to Exchange 2000 we evaluated the new Norton (called Symantec Antivirus now) and it was ok, but we evaluated Antigen from Sybari and like it better. Antigen lets you have multiple scan engines run at the same time which is pretty cool. Since we have Norton running on all the desktops, we like having a different AV provider on our exchange box (hopefully between the two we catch more bad stuff before it catches us!)
We looked at Trend, but they had just raised their prices and were well above Symantec and Sybari and we couldn't afford them. Good luck!
