GW to E2K migrations are pretty straight-forward overall. The biggest
gotcha is getting your permissions configured in GW to allow for mailbox
migrations. This can be a pain because of the way GW does permissions.

Other than that, if you can be more specific about the kind of information
that you are looking for, I should be able to help you out with a lot of
specifics. We do a lot of GW to E2K migrations using our Rocket product to
automate the migration process and have hit most if not all of the issues
involved with it. Is the information that you are looking for related to
coexistence, migration or both?

The process of migrating between the platforms is pretty standard overall.
The issues that you will need to be concerned with are:
- Coexistence (email, calendar, shared data)
- Migration (server-based data in mailboxes, calendar and shared data)
- Local data (personal address books, local archives, etc.)

Coexistence is generally achieved via SMTP or with the GW connector for
Exchange. Migration is typically done using the Exchange Migration Wizard
but doing that is pretty manual which is why we invented Rocket to
automate the process. Local data is the big headache and again, we have
created tools to handle a lot of this as well. Again, if you can let me
know what specific information you are looking for, I am sure that I can
get you what you need.
