That simply doesn't work well with public folders. Switch them to mailboxes and use the Autoaccept Script (see FAQ).

I now want to be able to book these resources when users schedule a meeting in outlook by adding it as an attendee. I know this can be done if the resource is setup as a mailbox but I would much prefer to have it is a PF. I now I can make the folder available in the GAL, how can I set it up so that it will automatically accept meeting requests.
