Working on preparing my Exchange 2000 box to accept mail (The 5.5 server is doing this now). I'm a little confused about the relationship between SMTP Connectors, the SMTP virtual server, etc and how mail is routed by domains. For example...
On my 5.5 server, my IMS is configured under the Routing tab to reroute incoming SMTP mail for a variety of domains to <inbound> (well, one is inbound, the rest route to that). This enables all users to have only one set of SMTP addresses (the one that routes to inbound) and all other domains get rerouted to that domain...
