Don't install the IIS SMTP Service. Deselect it when installing if you don't want the error message.

Delete the Internet Mail service from Exchange and reinstall the Option Pack. Also what is the different between "Upgrade Only" and Upgrade Plus" Is there any problem with upgrading IIS3 to IIS4?
