I was using Konquerer at the time... I have subsequently gotten to it, though I
think using these browser tests is in bad form, especially when one is not just urged
to use another type, but forbidden from seeing the home page (Actually if I hit the
stop button soon enough to prevent the browser check script from executing, I can see
it).

Just wanted to mention it, as it might be putting off potential customers, I am no
zealot in respects to OS's I use, I use whatever seems most appropriate to the task at
hand. It is no big deal, just a bit annoying.

Jim

It is a shame that your website won't accept browsers other than IE or
netscape though... Makes it a bit hard to see what your comapny has to
offer.

Hi Don:

You could go with a list-server solution, I believe there are several
shareware options of this variety. The problem is that these lists will all
be handled outside of Exchange. If you interacting with any of these
"friends" for day to day business correspondence they will need to be
duplicated in your GAL.

Imanami makes several applications that help manage Exchange based DL's.
Imanami WebDir provides an Exchange based list-server that allows users to
subscribe and un-subscribe to lists. Imanami SmartDL alls you to automate
Exchange DL's based on queries of your GAL directory attributes
or data in external data systems.

We have over 7,000 e-mail addresses of friends of the Museum where I am
employed. We currently pay a lot to have someone do the blast e-mailing of
our newsletter.

What alternatives would I have? We currently run 5.5 over Win2K and
distribution lists only send about 150 or so and need to be manually
updated. Are there any better options that anyone is aware of?
