No, not 'always'. The key thing is to make sure the online maint window is outside of your backup window, otherwise the backup process will halt the maintenance. 01:00 - 07:00 is ok. If the window is larger than is required by the process, multiple runs of the maintenance take place. Check your event logs to see how long the maint runs take and adjust if necessary.

I see it scheduled for 1:00a.m. to 7:00a.m. every day. Is this OK? Just wondering if I should change this. What is the recommended time for Online maintenance to run and for how long? Their is a radio button for "Always"....should it always be running? Thanks Samantha _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=& lang=english To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ______________________________________________________ This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual to whom it is addressed.
