Has anyone tried Exchange 2003 with a front end/back end setup? We have been trying the evaluation version of Exchange 2003 on a test server, but lacking a full test environment we have first had to upgrade our front end server to Exchange 2003 before it would allow us to install a new back end Exchange 2003 server. Now we can not get OWA to work via the front end server. We seem to authenticate ok and can see the default page on the front end server (e.g. http://frontend.uel.ac.uk) but the exchange page (e.g. http://frontend.uel.ac.uk/exchange) 'cannot be displayed' Have tried setting basic authentication in IIS on the frontend server for the default web server and the exchange section, but no joy.
If I can not get this working, then I will have to rebuild the front end server as exchange 2000 but would obviously prefer to stay with 2003. Anyone got any ideas? ---< Mark Dewell, University of East London, Dagenham, Essex, UK >--- ---< Email : [EMAIL PROTECTED] >--- ---< URL : http://homepages.uel.ac.uk/1278 >--- < Practice random kindness and senseless acts of beauty (Anne Herbert) > _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=&lang=english To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
