Unless something has changed in SP4 (we never made it all the way to SP4), Exchange 5.5 does not allow email in the form [EMAIL PROTECTED] I have in the past argued this to be non RFC compliant behavior, but some very sharp people on this list, who's opinions I respect very much, have argued otherwise. I will admit the RFC is not unambiguous this point due to poor wording.
