It's only happening to a few users but I am unfortunately one of them. I have looked at the views and they are set properly. This is one of the weirdest things I have ever seen. I have also tried to recreate my profile some where else and that doesn't seem to help. Any new items still show in my calendar but my older items don't.

We had a few users try to modify their view and ended up in the same situation you are describing. To fix we: highlight calendar, select view | current view | customize current view. Click the fields button and make sure the Start and End fields show Start and End. In our case the users in question had changed these fields to Created.
