Your plan sounds fine to me. The only suggestion I have is to install the latest post SP3 rollup fixes on the Exchange 2000 server. This will ensure that the Exchange 2003 ESM doesn't cause a problem if you make changes to the E2K server config.

I currently have 1 Exchange Server 2000 SP3, single site. I'm planning to upgrade to Exchange 2003. My plan is: - install a second server with Windows Server 2003 and Exchange Server 2003 - Join this Exchange to the existing Organization - Move all the mailboxes (about 25) - Remove the old server I would like to hear some comments from you because all the documents I've read talk about first upgrading the existing Exchange 2000 Server. txs _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=& lang=english To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/cgi-bin/lyris.pl?enter=exchange&text_mode=&lang=english To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
