I found that there is a way to force the SMTP server to send ALL email on another port, but not for a particular domain. If you set it to a nonstandard port, it makes the SMTP relay useless for outgoing email, but it does allow the two to work together. I haven't check Windows Server 2003, perhaps someone here can comment on that.
The setting is in Advanced in the property screen for the SMTP server. Good luck, and let me know if you figure out a different method.
