I guess if you have multiple IP addresses, you could configure multiple
SMTP virtual servers. Then configure multiple SMTP Connectors. One
connector with *=1 cost and the other with *specialdomain.com=1 cost.
Use one SMTP virtual server as bridgehead for one SMTP connector and the
other SMTP virtual server as bridgehead for the other SMTP connector.

Still with me?

Set up the SMTP Virtual server that's a bridgehead for the
specialdomain.com SMTP connector to use port 26.

Am I thinking straight?

Subject: RE: Route all mail through another system

I spent some time looking through it, but couldn't find an answer. It
does talk about setting up routes, but if I set up a route for all email
to go to another port/server, then that SMTP sends it back, I have a
loop. I don't see any way to avoid the loop.

I can't seem to reconfigure Win2k SMTP to send on port 26 for one domain
only, so I need to figure out how to get Exchange to accept mail on
another port (e.g. 26). But then if I do that, do internal applications
that use CDO to send email go to Exchange on port 26, or the Spam STMP
server on 25?

Thanks,
Erick
