First thing I would try:
Clean out the forms cache.
Close Outlook
>From the desktop press <F3> (Find)
Search your hard drive for:
Frmcache.dat
(Be sure to look for hidden files if necessary)
Delete this file from the Find window.
Close the Find window.
Start Outlook.
A new Frmcache.dat file will be created when you open Outlook.

Subject: Outlook problem
Hi all,
I have a user who can no longer create tasks in Outlook 2000. When they
try to create a new task the error message "Unable to complete the
operation, one or more parameters is invalid"
I have searched google and MS and had a good look round slipstick but
can't seem to find an answer.
Outlook 2000 is running on a windows xp (sp1) laptop.
Anyone come across this one before.
I have asked the user to log on to a different machine and set a profile
up there to see if its machine related.
Thnks
David
