Has there been a root cause discovered causing Free/Busy time being "hashed"
out for some users and their Outlook clients, 2010 & 2013? Usually the user
tries to set a meeting and ALL their invitees show hash marks.

I have been Googling this for months, verifying assorted settings within
Exchange, Auto Discovery, etc.

Issue seems to be just a limited number of users, occasionally different ones.
Many times the same user with the issue popping up this week, then no issues
for 2-3 weeks. But only 1% of our users at any particular time.

We fix the symptom in a few ways...

* We have found removing the "Profile" and reestablishing the account
using auto-discover will restore Free/Busy immediately, every time.

* Not always, but running a "Repair" through Account settings will work
without touching the profile. Usually have to close Outlook and run "Repair"
via the Control Panel/Mail option, but sometimes this has also fixed the issue
by running the "repair" with Outlook up and running.

* If Outlook 2010, using the "/cleanfreebusy" switch at start has fixed
the issue, but not always.

I'd love to know what I might be missing as the root cause and fix this once
and for all.

Thank you all!
Robert
