I don’t know what you mean by “Exchange Dashboard”, but what you are describing sounds like a distribution group.
The emails sent to a distribution group exist only in the mailboxes which are members of the DG. If the DG is empty, the emails go to the great bitbucket in the sky. From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of D R Sent: Wednesday, October 14, 2015 12:46 PM To: exchange Subject: [Exchange] Alias email address in Exchange 2013 I created an Alias Email so that when people outside the organization email to it, it directs the incoming email to the users that I have assigned to that email. This is not an account. In the Exchange Dashboard, there is a selection called 'Alias' several tabs from the User Accounts Tab. In it you can generate an email address, and add users who need to receive that incoming email. The address is; HR@company_name.com<mailto:HR@company_name.com> But is is not an account. I am trying to use the EMS to pull up that email and the user emails associated with that email. Anyone point in the right direction? Everything I am find only deals with an actual account.
