Exchange is "open-source" assuming you have it wide open on the internet...

<sorry... couldn't resist>

5000? I told you a million times not to exaggerate!

I don't find Microsoft's software any more buggy than any others.
Especially when based on bugs per 1000 lines of code.

We still may see service pack 5, even if it remains in the form "post-sp4
rollup of fixes"

Next you're going to suggest Exchange should be open source...

I'm sure we all agree. what about the close on 5000 5.5 bugs that
aren't in
service pack 5 simply because they are encouraging ppl to upgrade to
2000.
we're sick of microsoft relasing buggy software.... like someone in the
list previously said, why don't they design bullet proof software like
stuff
going to the moon. can't be all that hard surely. sure they relase
things
a bit slower but they could cut 3/4 of their support staff that charge
$300
a call. terds...

You may as well write your own. I doubt they have any interest in
making
such a change.

As a customer I hope they have better things to work on.... like about
50
Exchange2000 bugs.

this one thing i hate about outlook. why doesn't it just open read only
.pst files as read only?? I've filled in a microsoft wish list form but
no
noise yet.... does anybody know the internal format of a .pst file?
I'll
write my own viewer if i could....
