Amen to that (I also found this out the hard way and no longer do any
forwarding to external accounts).  Not only a good idea just to prevent mail
loops, but also as another step in discouraging the use of external mail
accounts altogether from your corporate desktops -- unless your current
policy prevents this, chances are that same executive will have (or want to
have) access to these external accounts from the office PC, and that can be
a perfect backdoor right past any Exchange-based AV scanning agent(s) and
right onto his desktop.  Yes an AV scan may (should) also be on the desktop
too, but I'd rather not let a Hotmail message carrying Magistr or SirCam or
anything else get that far anyway.
