Do you keep SMTP logs? (for history)

Adding a test mailbox to the groups for future is a good idea, as someone
else suggested.

Can't say that I've ever heard of a parent complaining about TOO MUCH
communication from a school. I get 2 or 3 e-mails a day from my younger
son's school. One or two a week from my older son's university.

Subject: Distro List Usage?

Some of our parents are complaining that we're sending too many emails to
them, so I've been asked if there's a way to determine how many emails have
been sent previously and/or is there a way to monitor for a week or so now?

Short of the message logs, I haven't a clue.

We send to the parents via BCC, so the logs don't show the group (as it
explodes into the members) and short of knowing the subject of each email
sent (which would give you the numbers right there), I don't see a way to
provide the requested info.

ie a typical distro group is #ALL 5th Grade

Is there another way to see how many emails went out via a specific group?

Thanks,
