2200 Mailboxes, 3 Servers, plus ActiveSync, Good Mobile, Enterprise Vault, ProofPoint and McAfee SCM Gateways. Also manage storage and switched fabrics. Those are probably most of my primary responsibilities. I also handle a lot of the AD and Group Policy management, proactive monitoring, general server support and escalated help desk support.
Other than recently completing a signficant hardware upgrade, I'd say managing Exchange consumes very little of my time. That's also because we have a separate department responsible for user management tasks. Managing storage however....that's my full time job. - Sean On Tue, Jan 12, 2010 at 4:28 AM, King's Kid <[email protected]>wrote: > I support only 70 users in Exchange which leaves me plenty of time for > the wonderful world of desktop support. > > BJ > > > When the whole world is against you paranoia is just good sense - Johnny > Fever > > > ------------------------------ > *From:* "McCready, Rob" <[email protected]> > *To:* MS-Exchange Admin Issues <[email protected]> > *Sent:* Mon, January 11, 2010 12:44:27 PM > > *Subject:* How many Exchange Admins do you have??? > > Anybody have any articles that suggest how many mailboxes ONE Exchange > Admin should support?
