Thank you... good to know. Previously the OL 2003 user did maintain the
lists so not sure if they'll "fix" this problem by relocating that
responsibility to an OL 2007 user, or just divide the list into two lists,
or go for a non-OL solution I've suggested.

My experience with PDLs in the contacts was, when they got too large, the
customer simply couldn't edit it, but sending seemed to work.

I have client using Outlook to maintain a customer mailing DL which is
stored in a PF. Some users have OL 2007 SP2 (which according to MSKB 238569
no longer has a limit), others have OL 2003. The size of the DL only
recently exceeded the limit.

While it's clear that OL 2007 SP1 or earlier can't deal with saving larger
lists, the KB article gives no clues what the result might be if an earlier
Outlook tries to SEND to a too-large DL made by 2007 SP2. Anyone know?

Thanks
