http://www.mplayerhq.hu/DOCS/HTML/en/dga.html is a good read. Basically, it appears to be a method for doing dynamic screen resolution switching (obsoleted by Xrandr) in combination with mapping video memory directly into a userspace process (obsoleted by Xv, DRM+OpenGL). I doubt it even works on any video card made in the past 10 years; and it definitely wouldn't work on anything using KMS. -- Calvin Walton <[email protected]> _______________________________________________ Exherbo-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.exherbo.org/mailman/listinfo/exherbo-dev
