Unfortunately, due to the local requirements the defer_ok is not an option.
defer_ok only on the first callback-statement, of course, so you have
the chance to make a second one.
In the meantime, I got the remote siteadmin contacted who will contact
the mailadmin.
Much better and much easier, I'd say.
