Shea, You may get to keep the same dynamically assigned IP for long periods, but it is still a dynamic IP. The various lists just maintain blocks of IP addresses that are known to be dynamically allocated to dial-up and consumer broadband customers. If you want to send e-mail directly, you really need a proper static IP that is assigned from a separate block than the ISP's dynamic block(s).
