Indeed. I am warming towards implementing "true" and "false", which 
might have other uses for forcing success or failure. You could then say

   true = <SQL update query>
   
or 

   false = <SQL update query>
   
depending on whether you wanted the current verb to be triggered or not, 
while in both cases obeying the query.
