Hello all newbee here. I hve searched forums and google and cant find any answers. so please be gentle.
currently running debian only as a web server. need exim to send a messege every so often. I thought I had configured incorrectly so I ran apt-get remove exim4 when that did not remove the config files I blew them away my self. after that I ran dpkg -r exim4 and dpkg-p exim4 then reinstalled exim4. upon reinstall it did not go through configuration like it should. and It did not make the directory /etc/exim4 so I created that directory and installed exim4 again. Long story short is I am missing some config files and I cant get exim to restart by typing in /etc/init.d/exim4 restart. also when trying to send a message I get this error. 2008-04-02 09:05:02 1Jh3aI-0001v8-BS ** [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Unrouteable address any help greatly appreciated.
