That could be a red herring. Does the temporary rejection only happen when 
you're using TLS/SSL to
connect ? Do you have enough entropy ? You don't mention what OS you're using, 
but on Linux
cat /proc/sys/kernel/random/entropy_avail
will tell you if you have any entropy.
