I noticed today that if Exim produces a 550 message consisting of a long
message (separated by \) or three lines, for example, (separated by \n
\) Yahoo always gives only the last portion of the 550 message to its
email users. This inevitably means, on occasions, the sender may not
understand why their email was refused.

Is this practise of truncated rejection messages widespread ?
