just to keep this short. $1500 has been roughly a going price of a 2 room apartment $1000 (in latter part of 98) to 1600-1700 (now) in the center for about a dozen years. you can certainly find something at this price, and most folks have. i am aware of rented apartments in the center in the 1000 to 1400 range, but these are mostly 1 room places with lofts. i am also aware of very different prices, for example, a fellow lister claims a place that rents for $12,000 or so.
