Hi

If you are here in Russia on a business visa, you are required to leave the
country every 90 days. The law changed in January 2008 [previously a one
year Business visa required you to leave the country only once - at the six
month interval] If you friend has been out of the country several times
since he first arrived in Russia and has never been in the country on a
consistant basis for more than 90 days since January of this year her/she
will be fine.

No one counts the days when you go and come into the country, but if your
friend will apply for a subsequent visa and it is discouvered that he
overstayed he /she may have a problem on renewal
