George, I asked about a "turnkey" multi-region dvd player because folks had told me about having to find some guy at the market to "deprogram" the player and it all sounded very complicated. But it isn't. Here's what we did to "crack the software". On the remote control, push the Open button. Push 7, 8, 9, OKAY, 0. Turn off player. Turn on player. And that's it. It took less than a minute and was so easy that even two nervous nellie techno-ninnies could handle it.
