The St Andrew Scottish Society of Moscow announces the 2009 summer Stramash garden party which will take place on Saturday 29 August 2009 from 15.00 to 21.00.
The Stramash was established in 2003 with the purpose of giving all expats and locals who love Scotland a family-friendly summer party with a real Caledonian flavour. It promises to be a great family day out, and all funds raised go to support the work of local good causes - especially our childrens charities.
It will take place at the same place as last year. A small private island with a stage, seating and a dance area in Krasnaya Presnya Park near Vystavochnaya (formerly Delovoy Tsentr or World Trade Centre) and Ulitsa 1905 Goda Metro Stations.
Tickets cost RUB 1,500 each and include food, beverages and music - there will be 5 live bands with plenty of dancing.
What’s more, your ticket could win you a bottle of Malt Whisky - all tickets will be entered into a draw! Entrance is free for children under 12 providing they are accompanied by an adult.
Tickets will be sold throughout August. You can collect them from the committee on Mondays and Thursdays from 7 to 9 pm downstairs at Papas Place on Myasnitskaya UlT.
