Well, I fixed my problem. I went to the ftp.kde.org and grabbed the rh5.2
kdebase, kdelib,
kdesupport packages and the install-kde script. I followed the install
directions from
the ftp directory, and magic! Now I have screen lock once again. The
"screen lock" is
a reported bug at the KDE site and is listed as critical.
