You'll want to have both the XFree86-libs and XFree86-devel RPMs
installed.
Also, check /etc/ld.so.conf to make sure that /usr/X11R6/lib is listed.
Finally, check the make command that's causing the error. Possibly it
needs "-L/usr/X11R6/lib" added to it?
