Help! is all I can say.
I d/l the ISO and burnt it fine. I can boot from CD made from ISO and write
boot floppy image. But when it comes to mount the CDROM for the install, I get
"That CDROM device does not seem to contain a Mandrake CDROM"
When I know fully that it does. What I was wondering, before I burn again,
is, I burned other apps and addons to a directory in the root of the CDROM
calls 'EXTRAS'. Would this have any effect on the detection of valid
Mandrake CDROM, or is it something else. I am running a P2-266, 64MB RAM,
Pioneer DR-A04S CDROM.
Looking @ the syslog on tty3 I see the kernal recognises the CDROM, so am
dumbfounded. I have never had this problem before installing Linux on a
system.
TIA
