If you go to mandrakes web site you will find their installation giudes.(under docs) http://www.linux-mandrake.com/ You will also find a list of supported hardware. The installation guide for red hat is at this web site if you want to read it as well.(mandrake is based on redhat) http://www.linuxpowered.com/html/tutorials/tutoindx.html The installation guides are there for a reason . use them.
