Hi, Steve and Bob,

Indeed, there is a liveconnect bug in netscape 4.6 which may be causing
the problems I was seeing.  When I established a ppp connection to the
Internet, I was able to run 4.6 ok.  However I still think that smp may
be an issue here.  On my smp machine, netscape 4.6 is a total lock-up
unless I have the ppp connection up.  This means that I can't look at
local pages without the ppp connection.  On my up machine, netscape 4.6
works fine whether or not the ppp connection is up.  OK, thanks,
