Uhm - a bit cavalier! My system CAN'T handle PIO mode 4 fer instance
but can deal with 32 bit DMA. The drive can, and the cable is okay - both
imported from a UDMA 33 capable system. My particular mother board doesn't
seem to support UDMA 33 though.
So even MODERN systems -only a few months old still may not be
able to handle full 32bit DMA or UDMA33. Both are dangerous
assumptions, and maybe should be left to someone trying to tweak
their system.
