I had a similar problems with an
Intel Pentium 150
Quantum fireball EIDE Hb
Atapi 32x Goldstar CD-ROM
my system does't recognize CD-ROM ' boot-image and installation fails.
As remark, only RH-6.0 works fine and .... in SCSI systems I had no
problems.
